While his companions are gathered, Estinien is clearly seen distancing himself, preferring to stand outside of the group, arms crossed, disinterested look on his face. He only joins conversation if necessary, rarely opening himself up in front of anybody, Alphinaud and the Warrior of Light being the exceptions. However, despite his gruff, hardened exterior, it's clear through his actions alongside the Scions, that he has a heart for his fellow man, fighting for what he believes in and putting himself in danger in order to protect those who can't protect themselves.
